The robots are coming! (for your son). FEMA is using A.I. to make decisions during major disasters. Fake A.I. 911 calls. More perspectives on the inferno — and what you can do about it.
Enjoyed your show. I think you have a really good sense one the whole Ai digital movement that has indoctrinating us for so long.
I rewatched the Star Wars movies and I used to think of them as who is using the force, that acknowledges it, either for good or evil and how the users of the good, like yoda was wrong about it. That once you give yourself over to the dark side that you were lost. But Vader said, tell your sister, your were right. There was still good in the evilest person in the entire universe.
But my more recent views I could see the propaganda in the movie was really to make the audience believe that robots and droids are human like. what gives it away is how the humans act toward them with compassion both with dialogue and touch. And they make the famous droids more human like, with their human humor. From the first movie all the way to the last one. Honoring droids like they are more valid than another person or pet animal. And our most useful friends. As much as I have always enjoyed the movies I really believe now they were used for this purpose. To set us up to embrace robots and droids.
The swabs went to a place where substances can easily enter the brain. I read about it at the time. I think its a thin part of the skull, where neural pathways enter from the ears. Metals or nano árticles on the swab could directly enter the brain. Also a violation. I never allowed it.
Given how many have human girlfriends and boyfriends who are just like these AI creations, any wonder they can pass off so well for so many?
People are indeed farming out their ability to feel, their ability to make decisions, to think.
Prof Solomon has unfortunately demonstrated the exact opposite of what he was stating, that what we do does matter. He must have taught thousands of bus ad students at UT Austin, and look how little impact he has had: the world of business, not remotely clean even when he was born, is much more corrupt now. And how much influence has his segment in Waking Life had? People for the most part just take what he said in real life and in the movie as inputs, they do not make it part of their experience.
Finished. Well, i am totally comfortable with myself and my body, totally love myself,..... and still feel a complete absence of community. This is COVID/AI central, there's only one person in the city i communicate with, and that at times feels a touch tentative. Plus a couple of people in Oakland (the What's Left? crew) and San Francisco. There are simply a lot of people who are isolated due to material circumstances, being where they are. And no, i can't pick up and go.
Good shot of The Other One. Sounded like 2nd Godchaux era (i.e. June '76 to Feb '79), given Donna's vocals. Good one, Phil's really prominent. Good music selections overall. How about Roxy Music?
100% re: air in music. The energy captured in analog vs digital sound recording is profound. It’s alive! Computer music lacks a layer of consciousness. Not judging digital music, because it can certainly also be great. But it does not breathe.
I think one of my coping mechanisms is trying to relate to the human parts that remain of people. Some are really trying to work their way through this and others have given their humanity over to ‘this perfect, infallible machine’.

so the swab was really an injection. I forgot about that theory -- thank you for reminding me...

BTW I’m not saying the machines are perfect but the tech world would have as many people as pile believe that they are.
Another thought provoking show Eric, thank you.
