Definitely, absolutely ALL about resources. Trump cut a deal with Ukraine for rare earth metals. Then a deal with China for rare earth minerals and magnets. He wants Greenland for resources. He would easily have Canada for oil. Panama Canal? Yes, controls resource flow. This war on Iran, if we survive it, will end in a resource deal.

Twice I misspeak and say Iran early on...the US went to war with Iraq in 1990-1991 and again in 2003.

HI Eric,

Timeline for how events transpired yesterday and yesterday evening, post midnight Iran time. Including the deception

https://www.ynetnews.com/article/hyitnoh4ge#autoplay

Minute by minute: How the US launched a devastating strike on Iran’s nuclear sites. For days, covert prep for the US strike on Iran was underway, while public signals masked the plan; deception continued until launch: Tomahawks fired from subs, followed by B-2 bombers dropping heavy ordnance; here's the historic night, minute by minute. Ron Crissy, Nina Fox. 6/22/25.

In a dramatic overnight operation, the U.S. military launched coordinated airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities — Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan — under direct orders from President Donald Trump. The strikes, carried out between Saturday night and early Sunday, marked a historic escalation in the growing confrontation with Tehran.

The operation followed a series of diversionary efforts and reports of tension between Washington and Jerusalem over the timing and scope of the mission. Despite speculation of a rift, U.S. and Israeli officials confirmed that the operation was closely coordinated, with Trump informing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of the impending action just hours beforehand. The War Cabinet reportedly convened in an underground bunker to monitor the strikes in real time.

In the lead-up to the attack, American officials had publicly played down the likelihood of imminent military action. On Saturday, U.S. sources confirmed that B-2 stealth bombers had deployed to Guam, while others insisted no orders had been issued to prepare for an operation involving those aircraft. Yet shortly after, The New York Times reported that additional U.S. fighter jets were being moved into the Middle East, potentially to escort the bombers.

According to U.S. statements released Sunday morning, the bombers entered Iranian airspace via Iraq and Syria. Meanwhile, a U.S. missile destroyer entered the eastern Mediterranean, while another naval strike group was en route to the Arabian Sea. The Pentagon described these deployments as purely “defensive.”

Iranian officials had issued warnings to Washington just hours before the strikes, aiming to deter any attack on its nuclear sites. Reuters reported that in the absence of U.S. involvement, Israel was likely preparing to strike Fordow independently. However, even as American media speculated that Trump had not yet decided whether to join Israel’s campaign, the U.S. assault on Iranian targets was already underway.

How it happened — minute by minute:

Midnight (Israel time) Operation Midnight Hammer begins: At exactly 00:00, a U.S. submarine launched more than 24 Tomahawk missiles targeting sites in Isfahan. Simultaneously, American forces carried out strikes near Fordow and Natanz to secure safe corridors for incoming U.S. aircraft ahead of bomb deployments.

12:28 a.m. Even before news of the attack broke, President Donald Trump referenced the ultimatum he had issued to Iran. Posting on his social media platform Truth Social, he shared a Fox News report with the caption: “Only time will tell!”

1:40 a.m. Roughly an hour and 40 minutes after the Tomahawk launch, U.S. B-2 stealth bombers began dropping ordnance on the nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan. Gen. Dan Cane, chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, later stated that 14 Massive Ordnance Penetrators (MOPs) were used in the operation. He reported that “more than 125 military aircraft participated in the mission, using about 75 precision-guided munitions — all within 25 minutes.”

2:50 a.m. Shortly before 3 a.m., Trump posted a dramatic update on Truth Social: “We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home.”…..[Continues to 7AM local time]

@RealScottRitter

An act of theater.

Trump’s big mouth had boxed him into a corner.

Iran wouldn’t play his game.

So he had to bomb Iran to save face.

He bombed two empty facilities that had been previously struck by Israel.

And he bounced six bombs off an indestructible facility (Firdos), claiming destruction despite the opposite being the case.

That’s it.

A “contained” strike.

A nothing burger.

And this is the man whose supporters call the greatest leader in the world.

He’s a national disgrace.

Completely agree Scott, but by violating International Law this failed theatrical act makes him a war criminal.

Sun Tzu, not Lao. And the statement is more like all war involves deception.

Hi Eric, thank you for your coverage. I’m born in 1964 and remember a lot of the bullshit about gulf wars 1 and 2. A dear friend of mine has done tours of duty in Afghanistan and Iraq (gulf war 2) and I’m so glad she’s not having to put her life on the line for more bull shit excuses. This all makes me deeply sad and I am letting myself feel that sorrow.

One of the many things I find so astounding is that the US and Israel are amongst the countries who have misused their weaponry most often in the last 80 years. And yet the rhetoric is that other countries are not capable of using their weapons responsibly.

On the human and upside of life in general, I’m enjoying the sunshine on a very short winter’s day in Australia. A friend just dropped around some fresh homemade pasta and my 6 year old neighbour dropped in for a visit. Im trying to stay human one day at a time.

Lots of love

Dharma can be translated as anything that comes to be. The understanding is that whatever comes into our life is produced by our consciousness in concert with other consciousnesses. We co create our reality. Maybe this dark solstice of criminal attacks is showing us the mirror. The US is a rogue state, run by organized crime. It violates every law, it personifies the principle of domination. Look at it, and ask yourself, who are we? As a people. The idea that one can benefit from a crime spree does not understand the laws of karma.

If we are due a world of war and suffering, may it awaken us to our responsibility, awaken us to compassion, and by the way, blow out the damn wifi.

My level of fear is so high it's like i'm past fear. Trump said in his White House speech that an Iranian failure to surrender and/or attacks on US assets will bring FAR worse conditions than what are already ensuing.

The 1990-91 Gulf War started when the Iraqi government accused its Kuwaiti counterpart of slant drilling across the border into Iraq. The Iraqi government also owed a major debt sum to Kuwait. Just weeks before the Iraqi invasion August 4, 1990, US ambassador to Iraq April Glaspie told the Iraqi regime that it had a hands-off attitude regarding the dispute between the 2 state/business entities, all but saying explicitly it would not react to an invasion. Great trap. The US finally had a war it could kick ass in, seem righteous, and gain massive approval from Americans, finally getting over the "Vietnam Syndrome." I remember it all well, i was in the streets a lot.

The attempts to stop the 2003 war failed in big part because the core lie, that 9/11 was an external attack on the US, was never confronted. We;re still paying the price for the mass public acceptance of the official 9/11 myth.

AI definitely is a major exacerbating factor of our current situation. It has greatly facilitated the concentration of social/political/economic power, meaning that fewer than ever people are making decisions such as regarding this war, and that the vast majority feel totally disempowered, if they even have it together enough to pay attention at all.

But the problem is MUCH bigger than digital disembodiment. The global system really is in a crisis it would be in anyway, just due to the very nature of the economic structure which underlies this system, i.e. capitalism, as well as the growing shortages of energy and raw materials resources and the destruction of the ecosystem which keeps like itself alive.

The system's managers are responding to this by herding us all into the Blockchain-based AI-managed Crypto-financed global digital prison. What 9/11 started, and 3/11 (2020, the official start of the "COVID" Psyop) hugely boosted is being advanced further by this war, as you noted in your presentation on the 17th. Unless we deal with this in total, we ain't going nowhere.

Eric F Coppolino's avatar

when you say "the problem" what do you mean?

Jeffrey Strahl's avatar

"Problem" is an understatement, looking at it now, more like an existential crisis, for the entire species and indeed for life on this planet.

Eric Francis's avatar

And to the extent that this is in any way a function of awareness, or consciousness, or sense of being, or trust in existence -- or the loss of stability of society and the shaky personal ground of being -- utter confusion about what is real and what is not -- that is the digital part.

Jeffrey Strahl's avatar

Absolutely! It's a huge exacerbating factor.

• Ian Carrol, June 18, 2025 – The REAL REASON that war with Iran was planned years ago. Going back to the Iranian attempt to kick out foreign (British) oil companies in order to nationalize it, the CIA sponsored revolution, Bibi’s WMD deception on Iraq and him since 1996 repeatedly lying about Iran’s nuclear weapons, while they themselves stole enriched uranium from the US and the fact that Israel is the only nuclear power in the region while totally ignoring any weapon inspection program, don’t have to abide to international law in the contrary to all 193 nation states. Moreover, the connection to Epstein and, as usual, to the bankers. https://youtu.be/GawSvA4mf5Q or https://invidious.nerdvpn.de/watch?v=GawSvA4mf5Q

Eric, I really appreciated your drop into your own state of utter confusion as relates to this blur moment. I matches the humility I feel on a daily basis to do anything about the madness. It's grounding when you share your feelings this way because I can sit in that state of '???' with you and others.

I resonate with Penelope's comment below and her immediate experience of life on the ground in Australia. I have taken to a meditation that involves closing my eyes, collapsing all of the world (maya) into me, into my solar plexus, until nothing remains but silence, waiting for it to digest, then opening my eyes again to remake the world from a new place. As if the projection screen is being recalibrated through me again and again. It's a way to respond. Just one among thousands. Along with moments like these, among other aware humans, trying to make sense and stay true.

Rhiannon's avatar

Thank you for these thoughts and insights.

And Trump said "UP to two weeks." Didn't rule out a decision before two weeks, or even well before two weeks. FWIW. Iran's foreign minister told his European counterparts yesterday that Iran rejected Trump's demands. That's all he needed to hear, apparently.

Contrary to our marketing practices, our technology Gurus, and A.I...

People - human beings - are not predictable.

That is, unless they allow themselves to be "conformed" - allowing, following, liking, influencing - into predictability. Indeed, we are not predictable, but our patterns are.

Moreover, one of the most pervasive patterns of human beings is the "Victim-Perpetrator Paradigm." Israel's war on the Palestinian people, its war now with Iran - the U.S. administration's choice to enter that war - are all clear examples of the paradigm.

The reality? No one is a victim. People are victimized...absolutely! Full stop!

However, it is up to us as individuals to choose whether or not we then assimilate the label of "Victim" into our identity.

Victims who do not choose to heal and resolve their victimization...will become Perpetrators. We see this in families whereby an abused person becomes an abuser or partners with an abuser.

Whole nations - governments - also follow the pattern, as we can see here. Netanyahu has held his people as Victims...now he has become the Perpetrator.

Members of our gov't. hold themselves as victims. Now, we have become the Perpetrator...here in our own society and in the war with Iran.

We have held Victims as "good," Perpetrators as "bad"...then walked away from the problem for centuries.

Time to seek to resolve the paradigm. Time to take responsibility for both Victims and Perpetrators and forge a new path...a new humane, evolved pattern.

We already saw a mushroom cloud in Beirut just a couple years ago, wait wait, did you mean a nucular mushroom cloud, calm down, the only nucular mushroom cloud is in your head, it's solid gold mind fuck going 80 years, get over it, it's all bullshit and it's bad for you

I'd like to see the evidence of this.

Jeffrey Strahl's avatar

Evidence. Perhaps explaining what's happened and what continues to happen to people in Hiroshima, Nagasaki, the Nevada Test Site are, the Marshall Islands, French Polynesia, the nuclear vets.,..

I have heard credibly that Cowan is pushing this line -- that the bombs can be made but not transported, kind of like Ivy Mike

Michael Palmer’s Hiroshima Revisited i believe is the book cowan is referring to…:

Jeffrey Strahl's avatar

What happened to Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Cowan and others have contended that they were attacked by firebombs and mustard gas, pointing to alleged effects of those. Well, this would have required several hundred planes to carry out. No one is contesting that only one plane was over Hiroshima, and only one over Nagasaki.

Eric Francis's avatar

Using the chart above, how would you assess the possibility that the United States struck empty facilities and did no real damage, as recently reported by Scott Ritter?

Jeffrey Strahl's avatar

Odds are that at least some of the enriched uranium was moved, but not the machinery, equipment,.... But the enriched uranium is in the form of gas, and useless for any usage without being reconverted to metal form. And the only facility for doing so has been destroyed.
