Can you believe anyone can write this? NEWLY discovered truths? Someone NEWLY discovered that the world is not a spinning globe, after 4 billion years? This fact was covered up from us by basic education? That's all it took? Tell a kid the world is a sphere, and the next thing you know he's in the Air Force, or in the Navy, or piloting the Space Shuttle or living on the ISS — somehow unaware of that fact...incredible...

Not sure why you’re apologizing, for you don’t seem the slightest bit sorry. You still think it was funny. What you’ve clearly demonstrated, in addition to people continuing to be gullible and far too easy to manipulate—which didn’t need further proof— is that you all are a bunch of elitist fucking assholes. In other words, no, you’re not forgiven...

That's the best globe zealots have. They need to lie and gaslight to try and defend their scientifically impossible globe. Instead of making up stupid stories like this one or claiming to be a former flat earther that went back to the globe (which never happens) why don't they claim my 3 Bitcoin challenge and provide just ONE proof of the globe? ANSWER IS: because there are none. FlatEarthDave com

The first two came down in, what, 90 minutes?! At the rate of FREEFALL! Yea Right

Explain the following.

1. On a flat stationary plane, air would flow in straight lines from the warm tropics to the cold polar regions. It doesn't. It flows in different directions, depending upon which side of the equator we're on Air would also flow in straight lines from high pressure to low pressure. It doesn't. Again, the direction of flow varies depending upon location relative to the equator.

No "force" is required to cause air to move from warm to cold. Happens with wall or floor heaters. No force is required to cause air to move from high pressure to low pressure. Just open a can or a bottle of a carbonated drink. Are you really that unable to think? The shape of the earth and its rotation are what cause air to flow along jet streams, in opposite directions north of the equator and south of it, instead of tropics to poles. And cause air to flow counterclockwise around low pressures, clockwise around high pressures, north of the equator, but opposite south of it. Easily observable phenomena. Why do the planet's air flow patterns not follow those expected upon a flat surface, especially not a stationary one, but not a rotating one either. Why?

2. The sunrise/sunset equation predicts sunrise/sunset times for any location on the planet depending upon latitude and time of a specific year (relative to January 1st of a reference year). It's based upon a spherical earth and a distant sun. Works like magic. Why?

3. GPS is based upon satellites orbiting at certain elevations above the surface at specific locations. It is based upon a spherical model of the earth. Why does it work?

4. The size of the sun's disk does not vary as you transit from sunrise to zenith to sunset. Why, if the sun merely moves towards and away from the observer?

5. Eratosthenes's experiment, impossible on a flat surface to obtain that observation. How do you resolve it with a flat earth model?

"BS answers will not be accepted."

Why are you BSing if you don't like BS??

You sound incredibly ignorant too byw. I'll answer your first question about air. I'm local 250 union trained on air conditioning, air properties and thermodynamics 5 years union + 2 years Associates degree trade school in HVAC/R. + EPA608 certified Universal.

Air does NOT flow in straight lines. Blow a cloud of smoke and watch it zig zag and disperse in different directions. Are you really that unable to think?? Your whole rambling about equator pressure going high to low and causing wind is also wrong. Low pressure can be caused by altitude and/or temp. High pressure is caused by heat and being at sea level due to more particles being above you. Storms bring in clouds, clouds are water vapor, water vapor and air lower the temp due to evaporation of the water. This happens continually in different regions of earth. There's a whole lot more but it's not for msm tv hypnotized uneducated people who don't follow the evidence.

And also wall heaters have an inductor fan inside the wall PUSHING the hot air. Natural draft heaters don't use a fan and those must be on the ground (NEVER IN THE WALL) or your house will catch fire.

I'll help you out though because I'm nice. Lookup Vibes of Cosmos and you'll see an explanation of sunrise/sunset and the seasons. The earth is flat. Globe earth is false. And there is no "space". You may respond but this time no BS!

LOL!

"Air does NOT flow in straight lines. Blow a cloud of smoke and watch it zig zag and disperse in different directions."

Under ideal lab conditions? That's not what you're talking about. I was trained to, mechanical engineering, numerous lab experiments with fluid mechanics/gas dynamics.

"Your whole rambling about equator pressure going high to low and causing wind is also wrong. Low pressure can be caused by altitude and/or temp. "

Show me where i said anything about "equator pressure." Regarding your own nonsense: air flows from high to low, that's what it would do under lab conditions too. It does not do so out in the open because of all sorts of atmospheric effects, and the earth's rotation.

" Lookup Vibes of Cosmos and you'll see an explanation of sunrise/sunset and the seasons."

You mean look up? And there you go, responding to a simple question by telling me to go find the reference in the New York Public Library's main branch. BTW, i said nothing about "explanation of sunrise/sunset and the seasons." You love misquoting people, or perhaps are unable to retain the information long enough to write down actual quotes. My point was:"2. The sunrise/sunset equation predicts sunrise/sunset times for any location on the planet depending upon latitude and time of a specific year (relative to January 1st of a reference year). It's based upon a spherical earth and a distant sun. Works like magic. Why?" But then, you probably can't answer, and instead provide a BS answer to a non-existent question.

I haven't even mentioned numerous high altitude photos showing the curvature of the earth, from high flying planes as well as balloons, many launched by amateur and student meteorologists. Even a flat earth advocate found himself forced to admit that photos taken from a balloon he launched showed the curve.

There is a guy named Dwayne Kellum who has launched a number of balloons with the footage on youtube. He is a bit quiet about his beliefs but it seems that flat earthers are applauding him despite every launch showing the amount of curve you’d expect from that height.

EDIT for the above - 12/12 - 2019:

I’ve had a short correspondence with Dwayne who agrees that his balloon videos seem to show a globe. He does, however, think that the Earth is flat and that the apparent curve is caused by something else. He would not tell me why he thinks the Earth is flat. I thought it would be interesting to hear from someone who thought that the Earth could be flat and then did something to actively acquire evidence. Very disappointed to hear: “I have concluded that the Earth is indeed Flat. The curve seen on my videos is a lens effect.” and then “I don't care to share my opinions on this subject with you.”

Another flat earther named Rob Skiba has a few videos where he is part of a launch of a balloon with multiple cameras and also a gopro with a narrower field of view because they generally complain about the distortion of the wide view - mainly because they don’t know how photography works. To no surprise for the rest of us the amount of curve match the globe that we live on. It seemed like they didn’t know how to take it. Like they genuinely believed they would get a flat result. It does however still seem that Rob is a flat earther.

It’s not a balloon but I’ll just mention another guy named Jeran Campanella who has a channel called Jeranism. He repeated the same drivel that so many spout but last autumn he was preparing an experiment along an irrigation channel. It seemed pretty solid so I pledged $100 towards his expenses if he just went through with the plan. And I have an open $1,000 reward that he of course would receive if the Earth turned out to be flat. After postponing a few times they finally went with the main experiment and a backup experiment. The main experiment didn’t go according to the plan but on another youtube video he mentions that they did the backup experiment and saw that the Earth was in fact curved. He quickly deleted all the bits of video that he had posted from the experiment and any mention of it. He is still producing flat earth videos.

EDIT for the above - 12/12 - 2019:

As most of you reading this probably already know, it is this backup experiment that was featured in the end of the documentary “Behind the curve”. I should perhaps send the $100 as the experiment now actually has been documented.

There is some portion of cognitive dissonance involved. Many don’t experiment because they at some level already know they are wrong. Some do experiments but just discard the results and carry on with their beliefs. Then again, I think that some of these youtubers like Jeran has figured out he was mistaken but refuse to wave goodbye to the few dollars that trickle in from pumping out more of this nonsense."

I'm so glad you wrote this. In a perfect world, this is what would happen wouldn't it, an apology.

But for certain, I know that one of the people not mentioned here will NEVER change her mind.

I also think you categorized it so correctly when you accuse them of messing with people's minds as if the COVID hoax and the "awakening" to the legitimate lies we have been told wasn't enough.

What if the earth IS flat, and there WERE atomic bombs? An A bomb could cause a giant hole in the earth. We could travel through the hole and see what is on the flip side of the earth. If the hole were in the ocean, would the ocean drain like a bathtub?

What if one side of the earth was really nice and the other side was a shit-hole? Everyone would move to the nice side of the earth, causing the earth to capsize. Just like when Rep. Hank Johnson warned us that Guam might capsize.

There isn't one single person who has ever started walking in one direction and ended up back home. Nobody has ever dug a hole and ended up in China. Those two truths alone is enough to disprove the big ball theory.

If the earth was actually spinning, I could jump stright up on a trampoline, and when I came down, the trampoline will have moved beneath me. I could land on the ground and break my ankle. That never happens.
