Studies in Jamaica and Costa Rica failed to find adverse effects even in heavy daily smokers. Smoking a fingernail's worth on a daily basis is simply not even on the register. Eating heavy doses daily has unknown consequences, not enough data, probably not a good idea. And just like everything, heavy use at a time of mass digital disembodiment is just another confounding factor, problematic.
The nutrition part had good parts. Seed oils are not pretty uniformly not good, neither are the shortenings like Crisco. Corn fructose syrup really bad. Aspertame pretty bad. I avoid caffeine and glutten. But the meat discussion totally left out the nature of meat produced by industrial farming, and this i felt was really unconscionable.
