It's a catch 22. In order to do sexual healing, you have to abstain. But abstaining means yet more sexual healing which needs to be done, which is a big load if you've been abstaining for a long time, not necessarily voluntarily. How do you do full healing when you don't expect to ever have a partner again?
After a certain point, partners must fully support your healing agenda. In a culture that offers two options, meaningless hookup and marriage (and marriage-like) relationships, vast territory is glossed over. Much can be done on one's own, though it helps to have guidance. What we need are thresolders: people who understand the space they are holding, and who serve as guides, teachers, space-holders and sexual surrogates.
They exist. I have initiated and cultivated more than 100 over the years...maybe more...though this is a difficult frequency for people to hold, as it requires close to total integrity...they are out there...
Well, i am glad they exist. You are 18 years younger than me, and infinitely more comfortable being social. So it's much more likely you'd get to meet such people. And maybe i just hung out with the wrong people. :-)
Modernity is exhausting sometimes.
We're all just humans. Not all of us live in reality, nowdays.
