As a child I was ruined for sexual intimacy by a pedophile, among other things.. So, all I can say about this foray into it is, yuck! I cannot see how it is even possible.

Many have recovered, though conventional approaches such as your basic therapy do not work because they too eschew essential elements of what it means to be human. Later in the week I would speak with you for a while and offer some ideas. If you like, please email me at efc@planetwaves.net AND efc@chironreturn.org. I am not a therapist; I am a teacher and an astrologer. I've been working in these realms a long time and may have an idea or two. Thank you for your comment.

Thank you, Eric, for talking about such a taboo subject; I have been reaching those same conclusions about sexuality myself (after 70 years of recovering from a Catholic upbringing); and if I may say so, you seem to have been able to sublimate, in the sense of making sublime, or spiritualizing, voyeurism (without the "hiding" from whoever you're watching, which is dishonest and does not lead to where you've arrived). There are so many aspects to be explored.

Exactly! It's not about voyeurism. That is a kind of taking. This is a kind of giving. The fuel source here is entering the shame of exhibiting oneself and needing to be seen -- which then bursts like flammable gas.

Perfect analogy: taking vs. giving. Exactly right.

Thank you. Sexuality feels like an underexplored realm for me, and chemo induced menopause made me think that ship had sailed. This episode (and some other signs) leaves me feeling a bit sad, but also curious to see what shows up.
