Mars in Gemini for me has been like being stuck in the mud, waiting on the tractor to come pull me out. I know the tractor can't go more than 20 mph and the battery on my hellfone just died. So, I'm singing the last song that played, over and over and over again...listening for the chug-a-chug of a '50's model Allis Chalmers.
somewhere I have a photo of three tractors, one after the next, pulling the previous one out of the mud -- all are stuck...in a big swampy farm field somewhere.
I've seen that exact scenario in person, but it was a tanker truck being pulled by a backhoe all being pulled out by my dad's 1941 International Harvester. Her name is Granny and she's a beast.
Seriously though...this Fall/Winter for me has come with the serious blahs. It could be that I'm free and sober of any and all (fun) substances for prolly the first time in 35 years. Well, I'm still vaping some low nicotine juice (no cigs since June) and having a few coffee's a day (no Monsters for 2 years), but no weed (despite having a pound or more of primo in front of me for about eight months now), no pills (finally COMPLETELY kicked my 20 year dependence on opioids - whew), no booze (quit that in 2009) ...nuttin honey. I've been taking some herbs to help my astronomically low dopamine levels, but my state of mind seems all gummed up, just stuck. I know it will get better, but if it get's worse before it does...
I shall take this as a sign to get more yogurt going and chop cabbage! I love fermenting...EVERYTHING. Well, almost everything. I should get the sourdough starter out and bake some more bread, too.
mmm...I shall try my blueberry kombucha today as well. ;-)
