Man created God in his own image. Man separated himself in his mind from the rest of nature and in God’s name gave himself dominion over everyone else, making most of their lives a misery or making them extinct.

Limitless time and space created Mother Earth. She formed herself into a big ball of molten rock, gas and water with interdependent beings known as fish, plankton, trees, insects, plants, mammals, fungi, bacteria (no viruses!), birds, dinosaurs and reptiles living on top. She didn’t consider superior or inferior, life or death, as all were part of the same one.

Primates can occasionally catch glimpses of the limitless non-separation with the love we feel for the animals we call pets, the vibrations in our own voices, singing and laughing and in the musical instruments we make, and by standing quietly in fields and feeling the wind on our faces.

God wants man to survive at any cost. Mother Earth does not. She will not hesitate to return herself to balance.

I trust her judgement.

Hiya Eric,

I was struck by the person charged by God going round investigating other planets where 'human' equivalents have extinguished themselves (and presumably many other species too). I presume the 'humans' are the ones who evolve first to use technology with which to collectively dominate or destroy every individual of every other species on that planet. Does God not care about the species on earth, billions of whom humans are currently making a living hell for or are making them already extinct altogether? Does God want humans to survive at any cost to everyone else?
