Flashback to June 2020 — four long years ago — offering responses from my readers about how they benefited from society shutting down, staying home from work, not commuting, and more.
My typo problem has two parts: I am terrible at proofreading my own work; and spellcheck on Mozilla for Mac does not work with Substack. However, for sending out a short post like this, I am resistant to engaging my professional proofreaders, delaying the mail by hours, etc. So thanks for putting up with the typos. If they annoy you, just wait half an hour and click on the web edition rather than the email. Most of them will be gone from the text.
What seems to be a common theme to at least many if not all of the experiences accounts from back then seems to me to be about a lack of community and a lack of a sense of connection they had been feeling before the event, but apparently seemed to feel they were regaining some as a result of the "pandemic." And indeed a social permission to go slow. Some seemed to think that online can fully sub for face to face. which is disturbing to me.
I had already been retired for a while when everything started in March '20. I didn't need to stop work or commuting routines. I was required to stop or modify most of my relatively few social routines. If there's a silver lining there, it's that i learned how many of the people i was connected with via those routines were really superficial and not at all committed to values i thought were essential. That's a good .. "acid test," which in fact does leave behind silver linings, with touches of grey. :-)

Enough, please! There is no such thing as "COVID-19," a distinct disease which is caused by a distinct pathogen called the "SARS-CoV-2" virus. Per major global health entities,his alleged disease has no characteristics which distinguish it from any other respiratory problem of any sort, and cannot be distinguished except via tests like the RT-PCR. Those tests in turn are actually meaningless in this context, since they cannot be authenticated with the use of a physically isolated and purified SARS-CoV-2 virus, since this alleged virus has never been physically isolated and purified. You are just pushing disinformation.
DARPA has openly bragged on Twitter that Moderna’s mRNA vaccine technology, and by extension Moderna’s Covid vaccine, was a product of their ADEPT program. However, research shows that Moderna did not merely apply for a patent in 2016 with US9587003B2: as reported in the Daily Mail. They actually applied in 2013 for 4 patents with US9149506B2, US9216205B2, US9255129B2, US9301993B2, as well for their “Covid-19 virus”.
The final codon completed inserted gene sequence, ‘CTCCTCGGCGGGCA’, patented by Moderna, does not exist in natural viruses and neither does the CGG-coded Furin Cleavage site CCTCGGCGGGCACGT.

Repeated assertions do not amount to a scientific proof.
I am retired and have been for over 26 years - people go off and do this silly thing called "work" I have no idea what is means or why they do it. Life has been kind to me and I have been housed that whole time, although, in places not always of my own choice, but things improved considerably some years ago and now I have a huge home with all of the bells and whistles which belongs to me and I have zero inclination to live outside its walls, especially as I'm not vaccinated and eveeryone else is or appears to be. So in a round about way, I live my life in lockdown, wanting for nothing, with a companion of the opposite sex who keeps me alive with awesome sex and I have no need to have anything new I can't buy off the internet and have delivered to my door, even my food from a local supermarket, when I get fed up going there in my choice of 3 cars to choose from.
Some years ago, I lived in one location and thought I'd go to another location new to me, a different suburb in the same city where I live - to see how it differed from mine - but everything was the same, the shops carried the same items, the people all dressed and walked or were transported the same way and it iccurred to me that nothing was different to my location and where I lived, so it was pointless going somewhere else within my country, unless it was to go and look at some natural marvel, I could easily see on my computer or other digital accessory, without the inconvenience of having to go there physically, to see it and that applied world wide.
So speaking for myself, I am very happily retired, all of my needs are easily met financially speaking and I also have a dog for extra company too and being in the equivalent of lockdown, is no different for me than those of you who go off somewhere to do your thing called work, especially as, with digitization, that seems to be from their homes, just like me, but like me too.
