My coverage of the dioxin train wreck will continue tomorrow. Tonight, I have a public appeal: we must speak up on behalf of E. Palestine residents and demand proper testing after this calamity.
Thank you for homing in on the dioxin threat posed by the East Palestine disaster. I briefly discussed this aspect of the burning at the start of my program yesterday, crediting your work (https://tntradiolive.podbean.com/e/perspective-with-jesse-zurawell-15-february-2023/), and I intend to continue examining it as much as I can. To that end, I want to speak with you on my show about the crash, and particularly the dioxin that's flooding Ohio and beyond. Can we arrange an interview?
Ohio senators call on Ohio EPA, U.S. EPA to monitor East Palestine for dioxins. Link includes copy of the letter and questions with Feb. 24 deadline for answers.
Listening to The Health Ranger aka Mike Adams while I have coffee before chores and who does he mention? I'll head over to Brighteon.Social and request he interview you...
I've been avoiding this story, as it just breaks my heart...all the innocent animals and the poor people who don't even have a clue. I'm sure I'll get mad in a minute, but right now, I'm just sick.
Hi Eric I had endometriosis years ago and I spoke to the dr and said I think it was caused by dioxins as I lived in Hong Kong where they burned lots of plastics and after that I had a terrible time with my periods and he just looked at me and said no he didn’t think so. But Iam sure that’s what it was caused from as I never had trouble before that
Each of those hopper cars would probably be loaded with around a quarter million pounds of PVC pellets, for a total of about 1 million pounds of PVC in the fire (in addition to all that Vinyl Chloride which was burned).
An example from Wells Fargo Rail:
"Our plastic pellet fleet consists of cars with loading capacities from 5,200 to 6,500 cubic feet and gross rail loads of 263,000 to 286,000 pounds."
Forgive me, as I have not followed much of your coverage on dioxin. We had a big problem with it about 30 years ago. The stories say they treated or dumped dioxin or used motor oil on the roads. The town, Times Beach, was destroyed and removed due to dioxin. It is now a park. Old residents say that their wealthier neighbors wanted them gone.
I don't understand. If this stuff is so toxic, why do we still use it? And, is not plastic made from the same stuff that dioxin is?
I don't watch the news, but I just found out about the devastation in Ohio. :( That's a lot to clean up! They better get busy!
Valley Park is near Times Beach. Their water contains heavy metals and was a Superfund site until the Trump administration stopped funding it. It still isn't safe to shower in.
Eric, been too busy disseminating this article around and in the process spaced out thanking you here for writing it. So, thanks, your coverage of this matter has been unique and exemplary. Will stay tuned for more.

You are your best diagnoser!
Eric, in case you didn't notice, 4 additional railcars which burned in the East Palestine fire were hopper cars loaded with PVC pellets.
These 4 hopper cars full of Polyvinyl (PVC) were "burned", or were "actively burning", or were "involved in fire," according to the EPA.

The area is now Route 66 State Park
"Homes, businesses, and even the town water tower have to be incinerated to safely clean up the site. The remains are buried in a “town mound.”"

Despite this report the risks are still present and no remedial action occurred at that time. https://www.epa.gov/mo/valley-park-tce-national-priorities-list-npl-superfund-site-valley-park-st-louis-county-missouri
